SCYO is run by a team of 11 directors. The Chief Director is appointed by SOTW administration and leads the group. The Chief Secretary, Finance Director and IT Director manage administrative affairs. The Conductors, Artistic Director, and Activity Director manage internal affairs. The Concert Planning Committee Chair, Mass Ensemble Director, PR Director, and Special Operations Director manage external affairs.

SCYO Chief Director
Name: Vacant

Info:
In the absence or incapacitation of the Chief Director, the Chief Secretary becomes Interim Chief Director until a successor is chosen.

Responsibility:
The Chief Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of SCYO, with the assistance of the executive committee and the Youth Ministry. As the leader of the group, the Chief Director is instrumental in formulating and working towards the vision for SCYO, to make sure the group is true to its principles and be ready to face any challenges in the future.


Chief Secretary
Name: Sagnik Sarkar
Main Instrument: Percussion

Info:
Sagnik is a first year student at the Schulich School of Business (York University). As a percussionist, he plays a variety of instruments but his 'weapon of choice' is dual-wield glockenspiel.

Responsibility:
The Chief Secretary is responsible for assisting the Chief Director directly, with leadership devolving to the Chief Secretary in the absence or incapacitation of the Chief Director.


Finance Director
Name: Sagnik Sarkar
Main Instrument: Percussion

Info:
As a business student with interest in accounting, Sagnik takes his job as Finance Director very preofessionally.

Responsibility:
The Finance Director is responsible for the financial matters of SCYO, producing financial statements and keeping SCYO and SOTW informed of the financial state of the group.


IT Director
Name: Sarah Chan
Main Instrument: Euphonium

Info:
Sarah Chan is a grade 12 student in St. Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary School. She is currently completing ARCT piano and all RCM theoretical courses. She is hoping to study Computer Science in university.

Responsibility:
The IT Director is responsible for all online media, maintaing SCYO's website, twitter account, and facebook, and is encouraged to look for new technology that would be a value-added to SCYO.


Artistic Director
Name: Andre Rigby
Main Instrument: Bb Trumpet

Info:
André joined SCYO in 2003 as a trumpet player. . He is currently pursuing a double major in Music Education and Microbiology & Immunology at the University of Western Ontario.

Responsibility:
The Artistic Director is responsible for the planning and preparation of repertoire for SCYO through all the seasons. Helping SCYO maintain a certain skill level and providing entertaining music for the group and for our audiences are the main goals of Artistic Director.


Activity Director
Name: Alana Rigby
Main Instrument: Flute

Info:
Alana joined SCYO in 2007 as a flute player, though she occsionally plays piccolo. She is currently attending the University of Waterloo, pursuing a double major in English and Sociology

Responsibility:
The Activities Director is responsible for co-ordinating spiritual, recreational and social service activities for SCYO, both internally and with other youth or focus groups. SCYO prides itself in providing a friendly atmosphere for its members in musical and non-musical activities.


Logistics Director
Name: Georgina Wong
Main Instrument: Flute

Info:

Georgina is a great stress reliever. She is planning to take over the world with evil cats . She is currently a music student at the University of Western Ontario.

Responsibility:
The Logistics Director is responsible for organizing the logistics for all SCYO performances, except the annual SCYO Spring Concert, which falls under the duties of the CPC Chair.


Public Relations Director
Name: Jennifer So
Main Instrument: Flute

Info:
Jennifer is currently pursuing a double major in Psychology and Fine Arts at the University of Waterloo.

Responsibility:
The Public Relations Director is responsible for promotions, sponsorship, and recruitment for SCYO, as well as inter-SOTW-group and community relations.


Mass Ensemble Director
Name: Gabriel Chan
Main Instrument: French Horn

Info:
Gabriel is the founder of SCYO, and is well-connected to the youth- and music-related groups at SOTW with experience managing projects in these areas.

Responsibility:
The Mass Ensemble Director is responsible for preparation and logistics for monthly mass duty. SCYO plays at the fourth Sunday 12:00 mass of SOTWCCC every month, in co-operation with St. Luke's Youth Choir and Youth Faith Forum Music Group.


Concert Planning Committee (CPC) Chair
Name: Eric Chow
Main Instrument: Oboe

Info:
Eric is a student of the Music-Concurrent Teacher's Education Program at the University of Toronto.

Responsibility:
The Concert Planning Committee (CPC) Chair is responsible for forming the CPC for the purpose of organizing the annual SCYO Spring Concert.
